Holiday Events in London

 

Check out Christmas Extravaganza on Ice December 10 at Budweiser Gardens. The excitement starts at 7 p.m. with featured soloists including World Champions Natalia Bestemianova and Andrei Bukin. A one-act ballet follows Cinderella on a holiday-themed journey. This Christmas special has been a London tradition for over 30 years and stuns with technical savviness and flair.

On December 21, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen features The Nutcracker at Centennial Hall. A holiday staple, bring the whole family for the 7:30 p.m. show, and make memories with this beloved story. Tickets are available now here, and booking early is highly recommended. This sell-out show sure is a crowd pleaser, and holiday planners snag tickets early.

Seasonal Treats

Visit the Eldon House for a special Christmas formal tea December 4 at 1 p.m. Located at 481 Ridout Street North in London, their Christmas Tea includes live entertainment with 19th century twists. The menu is Victorian and includes unique sweets and “savouries” as well as oodles of holiday decorations. Reservations are required, and costs are $35 for adults and $15 for children. December 9 marks the Children’s Magical Winter Ball at the London Convention Centre. Starting at 5 p.m., the five-hour event is hosted by the Children’s Health Foundation. As the only black-tie, family-friendly ball in the area, you’ll enjoy crafts, live entertainment and activities with a holiday theme. A lavish silent auction, dinner and surprises await at this magical evening.
