Latin Fare in London

From tapas to house made sangria, Latin cuisine is an excellent choice for family dining, a romantic date, or a rousing night out with friends. Try Casa Blanca where you’ll find ceviche, flautas, a Latin fillet of basa fish, and, of course, generous paellas. The maduros, or deep fried plantains, are a must, and the jalapeño soup is surprisingly mild and flavorful.

At Lo Nuestro Latin Restaurant, there’s the famous tilapia dinner with whole fish, plantains empanada made with milk, Salvadorian chorizo, and perfectly prepared pupusas. You’ll enjoy an eclectic mix of Latin dishes, complete with perfect seasoning and accoutrements.

Spicing It Up

The Tasting Room has it all, from Baja fish tacos with the catch of the day served with crema and house pico de gallo to a seafood pasta with shrimp, mussels, salmon and house cream sauce. Try the pan seared scallop salad with candied pecans and bleu cheese, or the bleu cheese and bacon potato salad.

Shelly’s Tap and Grill is a local hangout infused with Latin flavors. Grilled chicken tacos, vegetarian flatbread with banana peppers and mozzarella cheese, and panko-crusted calamari are all top choices for starters. However, many come for the dessert, including the deep caramel pecan flan.
