Inspiring Places To Write For NaNoWriMo

Coffee shops are always great places to write – you can people-watch for inspiration, maintain your caffeine intake, and if you get hungry, even grab a pastry. Cream Beanery has some delicious flavored lattes, as well as Italian sodas and milkshakes. Set up your laptop, grab a beverage of your choice, and take advantage of the murmur of background noise to get a bit of writing done.

With multiple locations across the city, you can certainly find a location that’s convenient for the rest of your plans that day. Libraries are great places to write or get a bit of work done, because they’re quiet, they have wi-fi access, you can print as need be, and even rent a meeting room if you’re meeting a group of people or just need more privacy. Plus, you have access to a multitude of research sources!

If you get sugar cravings while you write, you’ll love Forrat’s. Their chocolate fondue is a great reward system – write a few lines, complete a few work emails, eat a chocolate-covered banana slice.
