Kid-Friendly January Events In London!

January is full of fun and exciting events for kids in London!

Cool Kid Friendly Activities In London

Mamma Mia @ Original Kids Theatre

Various dates

Kids will love seeing this classic, light musical and dancing to their favorite ABBA songs, especially with kids their own age on stage.  The play tells the story of a young woman who invites her three potential fathers to her wedding in the hopes of learning which is her real dad.

Family Fun Night @ London Childrens Museum

Every Thursday

Family Fun Night is a free-admission event designed to invite families to engage in all of the fun science activities that can be found at the London Childrens Museum.  Dig up bones in the paleontology exhibit, experiment with electricity, and explore space, all in one vast building.  The “Science In Your World” exhibit is particularly interesting, as kids can take the knowledge they gain there and bring it home to grow their own food, study animals from their own backyard, and help parents create nutritious and well-balanced meal plans.

Chinese Youth And Children New Year Gala @ Wolf Performance Hall

January 11th, 2020

Kids will love celebrating the Chinese New Year at this event.  See traditional Chinese dancers, listen to jazz and classical music, and learn about Chinese culture and history.  It’s an excellent way to spend a day engaging in a rich and storied culture that has survived for over 2000 years.

Kids’ Monthly Cooking Class @ Growing Chefs!

January 22nd, 2020

Every month, Growing Chefs! invites kids to come and learn how to cook using ingedients they likely expect to hate.  In January, the child chefs will be working with mushrooms, using them in a variety of dishes, and learning the tastes of various types.  It’s a great opportunity for kids to expand their palettes and pick up a useful life skill!

Have a great time in London at these family-friendly events!
