Summer has come and gone. The cool, brisk air can send a chill through your bones. It is the perfect time of year to warm up with a libation. Head over to Labatt Brewery for a drink and a tour of the facility. Learn what goes into brewing the process and how the brewery brews, bottles and distributes all of their amazing beers. You even get a little history about the area.
Founded in 1847, Labatt has grown to be the largest brewer in Canada. Purchased in 1995 by Interbrew it is now part of the Anheuser-Busch brand. Its most popular brew is Labatt Blue which has notably won a number of beer rating competitions not just in North America but internationally.
The brewery tours are approximately two hours long and must be booked by email or phone. For just $10 (cash) you not only get to tour the facility but you also get a sampling of their delicious brews. They will even teach you how to pour Stella Artois. All visitors who tour must wear closed toe shoes, preferably running shoes, and no heels will be allowed for safety reason.
