Sifton Bog Natural Area Walk

Located on the west side of Hyde Park Road in the heart of London, the stunning Sifton Bog Natural Area offers an escape from urban life. Travelers can enjoy a guided morning hike on September 3, starting at 9 a.m., where a local expert offers insight into the flora and fauna of the region. Explore London in a brand new way, and discover urban hiking at its finest. Most ages and abilities find the walk accessible, but there are spots along the trail that make it unsuitable for strollers.

All walks are complimentary and last about one hour. Hosted by the Thames Valley Trail Association, each guide is handpicked for their knowledge and passion of London’s outdoors. Free hikes are offered year-round for hikers and walkers eager to discover the gorgeous trails along the Thames.

Start Your Saturday Right

The Sifton Bog area is especially beautiful this time of year, with fall foliage just starting to appear and a number of animals scurrying to prep for the cooler weather. The TVTA Hiking Club is a non-profit group dedicated to up-keeping the 115 kilometer trails. Both caretakers and educators, locals and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of these brisk, fun and informative walks.

Visit the TVTA website for more information on walks and getting involved.
