This 300-acre park is located along the winding Thames River shores in the stunning southwest city of London, Ontario. Springbank Park is an extensive, linear, and well-forested park with over 39 km of easy-use and access trails. Springback park is family-friendly, has many different amenities, and is an excellent place for all kinds of activities, no matter the season.
With over 30 trails, biking, hiking, jogging, or rollerblading, the treed pathways will provide enjoyable hours along the scenic Thames Rives. The tree-lined paths provide an iconic canopy of shade during hot summer days, making it a popular and perfect place for a relaxing stroll with your four-legged friend.
Springbank Park has a long history in London, with an old pumping station back in 1878, a dam, and the famous Storybook Gardens. Storybook Gardens was built in 1985 and is situated in the middle of the park. This is a cherished favorite family destination with a unique environment for young children, themed around story books, nursery rhymes, and fairy tales.
During winter, Springback Park features a fabulous outdoor 25-meter skating trail. This trail is refrigerated for good skating conditions as it winds through the beautiful trees filled with holiday lighting. After skating, you can enjoy a cup of nice hot chocolate and a Beavertails pasty from the new Beavertails concession outlet.
