Take a Saturday Morning Walk
Every Saturday, the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate offers a free guided walk at 9am to explore the gorgeous grounds, history of the estate, and to kick off your weekend in peace and quiet. The walk takes one hour and is suitable for all ages and nearly all abilities. Strolling through the City of London, and easily accessible to many London hotels, it’s the perfect family-friendly way to enjoy the city. Children are welcome, but please leave your four-legged companions at home.
The Thames Valley Trail, which winds through the estate and the city, is maintained by nature-loving volunteers. There are over 1,100km of trails, and thousands of volunteers work year-round to offer over 300 hikes, to protect the trails and surrounding areas, and to keep the area looking beautiful.
Welcome Home
The Elsie Perrin Williams Estate is part of the Heritage London Foundation’s protected properties. Dubbed “London’s most romantic wedding venue,” special events take place here year-round. Located on 68 acres, each of the rooms are beautifully decorated and reminiscent of 20th century London.
The original owner, Samuel Glass, resided here from 1826-1830. Step back into time, breathe in that fresh air, and enjoy one of the most stunning walks in London.
