Your London Halloween Guide

Ready to give yourself a fright this Halloween? Head to London’s A Haunting We Will Go, a historic trick-or-treating experience in the village where you can listen to ghost stories, bob for apples, and warm up with cider and hot chocolate in between making the rounds and filling your bags with sweets. Suitable for all ages, it’s a unique opportunity for a sweet and classic Halloween.

At the Creepy Caledonia Halloween Festival, a full weekend of “freakishly fantastic” events for all ages takes place. Take a ghost tour the Friday before Halloween, and indulge in the full festival on Saturday! Airbounce rides, live entertainment, haunted attractions and “murderous merchants” are just a few of the ghoulish delights on hand. An all-ages costume contest is sure to bring out the creativity.

Local Haunts

Trek or Treat is the original Halloween night run in Canada, challenging runners to a 5k run and/or Creepy Mile Walk. It’s fun for the whole family, and most of the run is on trails covered in gravel. However, do be careful because there may be some roots on the path (consider it the trick of the night!). Lights are required.

Visit Spirits of the Past at Homer Watson House & Gallery a historical look at the ghoulish past of the area. The house is a privately managed tourist destination offering events year-round, and you won’t want to miss out on the ghostliest of all events!
