Coming Up: Home County Music And Art Festival
Enjoy London’s best summer music event starting July 19th!
The Home County Music and Art Festival brings together four counties to enjoy national acts in the folk, pop, and indie genres, as well as food, activities, and fun!
Music
The three-day festival features over 45 acts, including pop singer and former Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page (“Indecision” and “Feelgood Summer”), folk artist Meaghan Blanchard (“Waltzing With You” and “Hey Holly”), and country singer Aaron Allen (“Lucky Man” and “Fool My Fate”), to name a few. Before attending, be sure to check the show schedule so you can decide when you need to be at each stage to see your favorite acts – most will be performing multiple times, so you should be able to see nearly everyone!
Food
Try some food from London’s amazing food trucks and restaurants. Gonzalez BBQ is a regular, offering amazing dishes like their burridogs or arepas. You’ll also see ice cream vendors, burgers, and numerous other dishes available, so be prepared to try as much as you can. Every year, over 30 different food booths are set up, so whether you’re interested in some poutine or trying out Thai food, any cuisine preferences or dietary restrictions can be satisfied!
Other Vendors
In addition to food booths, various local craftsman will be set up for you to view their work. Glassblowers, potters, woodworkers, and more all come out for the festival, and many will enter the competition for best handmade work!
